What do I do in case of a car accident?

Simply follow the steps below:

Call Accident Care at 210 8096100 or 18112 and a trained & authorized Generali partner will visit the scene of the accident.

Place the warning triangle to warn other road users.

In case of dispute or if the accident involves an uninsured vehicle, you must call Traffic Police. If anyone is hurt, do not abandon the scene and call the Traffic Police and the National Center of Emergency Care. View here all types of car accidents and how you are covered by your insurance plan

Our Accident Care partner will support you throughout the process. They will record the incident report, fill in the statement, and after you read it and sign it, they will submit it on your behalf to the company.

*Do not forget that your registration license, your driving license and your insurance policy must always be present inside your vehicle, since these are the documents that will be first requested by Accident Care.

Fill in the Amicable Settlement form. The Accident Care Generali partner can fill in the form on behalf of you, and forward the signed form to the company.

*Please make sure that all drivers involved in the accident have signed the form. If a driver refuses, our partner will send the accident report to Generali and the company will undertake to manage the incident.

  • You will receive an SMS with a link to the necessary documents required to complete the report
  • You will receive a call from a Generali Accident Care representative who will guide you step-by-step through recording the incident and, in the case of a traffic accident, the details of the involved drivers and vehicles
  • Once the report is completed, you will receive a link to review it, sign it directly from your mobile screen, and upload the required documents and photos of the incident
  • As soon as we receive your report, you will get a confirmation SMS and an email with a copy of the report
